A Cozy Cafe Where Adorable Fluffy Companions Reside – ‘겨울이머무는집’ (Gyeoul Immu Neun Jip)
Location: 서울 마포구 와우산로17길 19-5
Operating Hours: Open from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

In Korea, there are restrictions on using Google Maps for navigation.
Please use alternative apps such as KakaoMap or Naver Maps to get to your destination.

No advance booking required! You can wait in a warm waiting room.

This Samoyed cafe is quite spacious compared to regular dog cafes and has a two-story structure.
However, there seems to be a limit on the number of people who can enter at once.

It operates on a walk-in basis. You do not need to make reservations.
I waited for about 20 minutes in a waiting room-like area and was able to enter. Given the chilly weather in South Korea,
the waiting area is indoors and well-heated, making it very comfortable.

Additionally, there were instructions in both Korean and English before entering. They provided a brief explanation,
“When you open the entrance and enter, there’s a gate, so please make sure the last person in closes the gate. Please store your belongings in the lockers.”

The entrance fee is only 12,000 Korean Won

After entering the cafe, we paid the entrance fee, which was 12,000 Korean Won, approximately 9.05 Dollars(U.S.) based on the February 2023 exchange rate.
Credit card payment was also accepted.

Although the cafe is labeled as a “cafe,” they did not serve beverages, and You only need to pay the entrance fee. Upon payment,
I stored our belongings in lockers and were guided to our seats. Here, there were explanations in both Korean and English to ensure safe interaction with the Samoyeds.

The specific details of the instructions are as follows:
  • Please refrain from touching the Samoyeds’ faces and tails, but it’s acceptable to pet their bellies.
  • Some Samoyeds may not like being touched by people, so try to avoid touching the ones that seem uncomfortable.
  • Inside, there are also Pomeranians. Please do not feed them, as they may bite. Therefore, it’s best not to touch them either.

Meeting the Samoyeds

Each person is provided with approximately 5 pieces of snacks that you can give to your favorite Samoyed.
Every dog has a wonderful temperament.

Furthermore, this cafe has a two-story structure, and the Samoyeds were divided into groups of five.
Customers can freely move between the first and second floors, enjoying their time with the Samoyeds without any rush.

The picture above shows the family tree of the Samoyeds!
There are 11 Samoyeds and 1 Pomeranian under the owner. The small Pomeranian in the center is incredibly cute, too! ♡

The cafe staff is also very friendly. The staff there asked multiple times if I wanted to take pictures and assisted in making it easier to capture moments with the Samoyeds.
